Megaworld is no stranger when it comes to developing high-end residential communities. The company is responsible for most of the top-tier condominiums in Metro Manila. It is also the one that developed most of the resort-style residential communities in some provinces in Luzon. However, Twin Lakes might just be the company’s most ambitious, and not to mention luxurious, venture as of yet. The entire community is set on more than a thousand acres of pristine land but only a fraction of it will be fully developed. Much of the area will remain as Mother Nature intended. There is also a working vineyard within the community, which gives the place a sort of Napa Valley vibe and atmosphere.

Within the Twin Lakes are two residential areas, The Vineyard Residences, which is composed of three condominium buildings, and the Domaine le Jardine, which is a mixed-use community. In the Vineyard Residences, you can choose between one-bedroom and two-bedroom residential units. The great thing about living in The Vineyard is that it does not only give you a nice and breathtaking view of the majestic Taal Volcano but also lets you stay right next door to the actual vineyard.

The one-bedroom unit measures around 37 to 49 square meters each, which is much larger than what most condominiums offer. Unlike most single-bedroom condominium units that more or less come with a rectangular floor plan, the ones in The Vineyard are designed to feel more like a hotel suite. When you walk into the main door, you will immediately see the beautiful kitchen area, which already comes with pre-installed cabinetry and a tiled sink and countertop. Beside the kitchen is the spacious bathroom, which is also completely tiled and already comes with all of the necessary fixtures. Unlike other budget condominiums, the shower area of the bathroom actually has more than enough room for you to turn around and bend over without banging your head or elbows on the walls.

The bedroom is also quite big. There is enough floor space for a king-size bed, a wardrobe, and a night stand. And even with all of those furnishings, the space will still not feel cramped at all. However, probably the best feature of the one-bedroom unit is the wide open balcony area. Unlike the “balconies” of other condominiums, the ones in The Vineyard Residences are actually spacious enough that you can place a complete patio set on it and still have enough space left over for a small container garden and a grill. The balconies offered by some of the other residential condominiums are nothing more than a glorified outdoor smoking area that can barely fit two or three chairs, let alone a small table.

As great as the one-bedroom units in The Vineyard Residences are, things will only get better when you check out their two-bedroom offerings. Obviously, the two-bedroom units are much bigger than the ones with one-bedroom but the additional space was not just for the additional sleeping quarters. The open space in the units also received a size upgrade. The dining area can now fit a dining table for six people, the living room area can now accommodate a wrap-around sofa set and a complete media center, the kitchen has more counter space, and there are more than just one bathroom.

Technically, the two-bedroom units have three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The first two bedrooms are the Master’s and another regular bedroom. The third bedroom is a Maid’s quarters, but if you won’t be having a stay-in helper, you can use the room as a guest room or as an additional room for the family. The balcony area in the two-bedroom units are also much wider than the ones in the one-bedroom choices. Some units even have three separate balcony areas. The balconies are so spacious that you can actually throw an intimate garden party on them if you want.
