If in case you cannot find the right doctor in the Ospital ng Tagaytay, just continue driving down the highway and after another five minutes, you will reach Tagaytay City proper. First of all, there is the newly opened Ayala Malls Serin, which is just along the Tagaytay-Calamba road. This shopping mall has dozens of shops and boutiques. In addition, it has quite a lot of open spaces where you and your family can just sit down and relax. It is also a great place for people-watching as quite a number of people actually frequent the place. Another great place for shopaholics is the Robinson’s Place Summit Ridge, which is set along the highest point in Tagaytay. The place has several nice restaurants, a supermarket, and a dozen or so specialty boutiques and shops.

Now, if you are looking for local handicrafts, foods, and other things that you cannot find in modern shopping malls, you can find them in the numerous public open markets that dot the landscape. For example, if you are in the mood for some fresh fruits, you just need to drive down any of the roads near the Twin Lakes community. There, you will find different stalls that sell freshly picked produce. Are you a coffee lover? If yes, then you are in luck because there are hundreds of specialty coffee shops in and around Tagaytay.

Although tourism is the main selling point in the city of Tagaytay, it also has quite a lot of churches and other places where you can get in touch with your spirituality. For instance, just along the Tagaytay-Nasugbu Road, you will find the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, a rather modern church that sits on a wide landscaped area. Even if you are not attending the regular mass in the church, just sitting in one of the benches on the church grounds is enough to calm your spirit and relieve your stress.
